Check for wall cracks and paint condition

Inspect all walls for damages, cracks, or peeling paint

Test door and window locks

Ensure all doors and windows open, close, and lock properly

Note electricity and water meter readings

Collect all keys

Main door, room doors, cupboards, and gate keys

Receive rental agreement copy

Keep a signed copy for your records

Save owner contact details

Phone number, email, and emergency contact information
